I just checked it the other day and got such a surprise to see some gorgeous sewing has been going on there! ReplyDeleteHey there! Thanks for the lovely "gathered sundress" pattern. I did my version today and I L.O.V.E. it! I just uploaded a picture on flickr.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the detailed and made-with-love instructions and above all I liked the fact that I sewed the dress within a few hours (although I made princess seams for the first time!). I went free style with the skirt and made in-seam pockets. I really like the original pockets, but I just finished a dress with similar pockets and couldn't be bothered this time. Also, I wanted a very simple dress pattern to go with my light blue linen fabric. I also lined the skirt part, mainly because the linen doesn't feel too good on bare skin.
I will definitely use the pattern again for another version!
