Having seen so much beautiful draping around the last couple of seasons, especially in lightweight knits, I made this draped skirt pdf pattern. I wanted a skirt that was gathered at both side-seams, a snug fit and an elastic waist for easy wearing. Due to the stretch fabric, its also very comfortable to wear.
This pattern finishes above the knee and it is fully lined so it looks good both inside and out! Pretty quick to sew with not too many fiddly bits and you can sew it on a domestic sewing machine. No overlocker/Serger required.
